Komparasi Daya Dukung Bored Pile: Metode Analitis Vs PDA Test

Foundations serve as substructure elements that support and transfer loads from the superstructure to the underlying soil layers. Boredpiles are a type of deep foundation constructed by drilling the soil, installing reinforcement cages, and subsequently casting concrete into thebored holes. This study aims to calculate and compare the ultimate bearing capacity under existing conditions based on Pile Driving Analyzer(PDA) Test data with analytical calculations using Cone Penetration Test (CPT), Standard Penetration Test (N-SPT), and laboratory data. Thebearing capacity was calculated using the Meyerhof method based on CPT and laboratory data, while the Reese and Wright method wasapplied using N-SPT data. The comparison results indicate that all analytical calculations yielded lower ultimate bearing capacities than the PDA Test result. The PDA Test indicated an ultimate bearing capacity of 241.8 tons. Meanwhile, the Meyerhof method using CPT data resultedin an ultimate bearing capacity of 163 tons, representing a 33% difference from the PDA Test result. The Meyerhof method using laboratory data yielded an ultimate bearing capacity of 117 tons, with a 52% difference from the PDA Test result. Furthermore, the Reese and Wrightmethod using N-SPT data resulted in an ultimate bearing capacity of 64 tons, representing a 73% difference from the PDA Test result. Based onthe comparison of the ultimate bearing capacities obtained using different methods and data sources, the Meyerhof method using CPT dataproduced the result closest to the field test result obtained from the PDA Test.References
