Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a glucose tolerance disorder first recognized during pregnancy and can increase the risk of complications for both the mother and the fetus. Self-management is an important component in GDM management to help control blood glucose levels and prevent complications. One innovation that can support self-management is Mobile Health (mHealth) through the use of digital technology in healthcare. Research Objective: To determine the effectiveness of Mobile Health on self-management in pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. Research Method: This study used a literature review method with a systematic review design. Articles were obtained through the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate databases using the PICOS approach. A total of 10 Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were analyzed in this study. Research Results: An analysis of 15 articles showed that Mobile Health interventions effectively improved self-management in pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, as indicated by increased adherence to blood glucose monitoring, adherence to dietary patterns, physical activity, therapy adherence, and improved glycemic control. Conclusion: Mobile Health is effective as a self-management support intervention in pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. Utilization of Mobile Health can improve adherence to disease management, help control blood glucose levels, and potentially improve maternal and fetal health outcomes.References
