Hubungan Asupan Natrium Dan Konsumsi Kafein Terhadap Tekanan Darah Pada Mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Prima Indonesia

Hipertensi pada usia dewasa muda sering tidak disadari karena minim gejala, padahal dapat menjadi awal risiko kardiovaskular jangka panjang. Mahasiswa kedokteran rentan terhadap dua faktor diet yang berhubungan dengan tekanan darah, yaitu asupan natrium dan konsumsi kafein, akibat beban akademik yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan asupan natrium dan konsumsi kafein dengan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik pada mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Prima Indonesia. Desain penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional pada 218 responden yang dipilih melalui stratified random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan rerata asupan natrium 4.055,798 mg/hari dan konsumsi kafein 187,297 mg/hari. Asupan natrium berhubungan positif kuat dengan tekanan darah sistolik (r = 0,716; p < 0,001) dan diastolik (r = 0,649; p < 0,001). Konsumsi kafein berhubungan positif sedang dengan tekanan darah sistolik (r = 0,472; p < 0,001) dan diastolik (r = 0,484; p < 0,001). Model regresi menunjukkan kedua variabel secara simultan menjelaskan 70,6% variasi tekanan darah sistolik dan 65,3% variasi tekanan darah diastolik. Asupan natrium terbukti memiliki kontribusi lebih besar dibandingkan kafein terhadap tekanan darah mahasiswa.
