Family Planning (FP) is a national program aimed at promoting small, healthy, and prosperous families through community participation. The use of family planning methods may be influenced by various factors, including religiosity and knowledge of family planning. This study aimed to analyze the association between religiosity and family planning knowledge with family planning use among female teachers at Integrated Islamic Schools in South Sulawesi Province in 2023. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 92 respondents were selected using the total sampling technique. Religiosity was assessed using a questionnaire based on the dimensions of religiosity proposed by Glock and Stark, while family planning knowledge and use were assessed using structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Fisher's Exact Test with a significance level of p < 0.05. A total of 42 respondents (45.7%) had used family planning methods, while 50 respondents (54.3%) had never used them. Most respondents had a high level of religiosity (94.6%) and good family planning knowledge (94.6%). The analysis showed no significant association between religiosity and family planning use (p = 1.000) or between family planning knowledge and family planning use (p = 0.060). In conclusion, religiosity and family planning knowledge were not significantly associated with family planning use among female teachers at Integrated Islamic Schools in South Sulawesi Province.References
