Digitalization of healthcare services is a strategy implemented to facilitate and improve the quality of healthcare delivery, making it more effective and efficient. This study aimed to analyze the challenges and human resource management strategies in adapting to the digitalization of the patient service system at Faga Husada General Hospital, Baubau City. This study employed a qualitative method with an exploratory case study design. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, involving 18 informants, with data saturation achieved at the 11th informant. The results showed that the digitalization process of patient services was influenced by organizational change, characterized by increased organizational readiness to adapt to technological developments. These changes encouraged employee acceptance of digitalization, supported by perceived benefits in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare services. Although several challenges and barriers remained in its implementation, the hospital made efforts to overcome them through early system introduction, training, mentoring, and organizational support during the transition period. The study concludes that employee adaptation to the digitalization of patient services can proceed effectively when supported by organizational readiness, technology acceptance, and effective change management.
