Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between perceived social support, self-efficacy, and career adaptability among final-year university students. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. Participants consisted of final-year students currently completing their final projects or theses, selected via purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Data collection utilized three instruments: the Perceived Social Support scale, the Self-Efficacy scale, and the Career Adaptability scale. All instruments underwent validity and reliability testing to ensure accurate and consistent measurement of the research variables. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both simultaneous and partial relationships between the variables. The results indicate that perceived social support and self-efficacy have a significant simultaneous relationship with career adaptability among final-year students. Individually, perceived social support shows a significant positive relationship with career adaptability; similarly, self-efficacy demonstrates a significant positive relationship with career adaptability. These findings suggest that students who receive better social support and possess confidence in their own abilities tend to exhibit higher levels of career adaptability. This study is expected to contribute to the field of psychology—specifically Industrial and Organizational Psychology—and serve as a reference for designing career guidance and development programs for final-year students.
