Maxillofacial trauma is a complex injury to facial structures that may cause functional impairment, deformity, and psychosocial consequences. Local data on maxillofacial trauma in the Cirebon region remain limited. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of patients with maxillofacial trauma at Waled Regional General Hospital from 2020 to 2025. 32 patients, 27 (84.4%) were aged 19-59 years and 20 (62.5%) were male. All cases resulted from road traffic accidents and involved closed fractures. The maxilla (Le Fort I-III) was the most common fracture site in 15 patients (46.9%), followed by multiple fractures in 11 patients (34.4%). Operative management was performed in 22 patients (68.7%), consisting of ORIF in 21 patients (65.6%) and ORIF with additional fixation in one patient (3.1%). Ten patients (31.3%) received non-operative management.Maxillofacial trauma at Waled Regional General Hospital predominantly affected adult men following road traffic accidents, with closed maxillary fractures and operative management using ORIF predominating. These findings underscore the importance of road traffic injury prevention and readiness for operative maxillofacial care.References
